Mohammad Rafi Khan, Bangladeshi pediatrician and professor, Died at 88

Mohammad Rafi Khan was born on August 1, 1928, and died on November 5, 2016.

He was a Bangladeshi pediatrician.

During 1994, he was selected the National Professor of Bangladesh.

Mohammad Rafi Khan was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2009 and Independence Day Award in 2016 by the Government of Bangladesh.

Khan was a Fellow of Bangladesh Academy of Sciences since 1975.

He had received his MBBS from Calcutta Medical College in 1952.

Khan completed post-graduate degrees from Edinburgh (1957, 1962 and 1978), London (1957) and Dhaka (1974).

Khan has written many books, such as Practice of Pediatrics Medicine.

He had one daughter, Mandy Karim
