Mohammad Ali Samatar was born in 1931, in Kismayo, Somalia and died on August 19,2016.
He was a Somali politician and Lieutenant General.
Samatar was a senior member of the Supreme Revolutionary Council, he also served as the Prime Minister of Somalia from February 1, 1987 to September 3, 1990.
He was the national Prime Minister, from February 1, 1987, to September 3, 1990.
He was the Chief Commanding Officer of the Somali National Army during the Ogaden Campaign, in the 70’s.
He died in Virginia, United States.
Mohammad Ali Samatar passed away at 85 years old.
