Mohamed Zouari was born in 1967 and died on December 15, 2016, in Sfax.

He was a Tunisian engineer.

He was a member of The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

He was one of the followers of the Islamic political party Ennahdha, then he left Tunisia in 1991 to Syria in order to escape the wave of repression of the Zine El Abidine Ben Ali regime.

He had a knowledge in aeronautics and in the design of drones, he joined the ranks of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the Hamas armed wing, where he supervised his unmanned aircraft manufacturing program used in 2014 during the Gaza war of 2014.

He returned to Tunisia after the Tunisian Revolution.

Mohamed Zouari passed away at 49 years old.
