Mohamed Hassanein Heikal/ محمد حسنين هيكل‎ was born on September 23, 1923, and died on February 17, 2016.

He was an Egyptian journalist.

Throughout 17 years in 1957 to 1974, Mohamed was editor-in-chief of the Cairo newspaper Al-Ahram and has been a commentator on Arab affairs for more than 50 years.
