Minos Xenophon “Minas” Kyriakou was born on May 31, 1942 and died on July 2, 2017.

He was a Greek media and shipping magnate and businessman.

Kyriakou was the president of the Greek Olympic Committee and was the President of the International Olympic Academy (IOA, 2004-2009).

Kyriakou was elected to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) council in August 2003.

Minos Kyriakou passed away 75 years old.
