Miloslav Ransdorf was born on February 15, 1953, RakovnĂ­k and died at January 22, 2016, in Prague.
He was a Czech politician and Member of the European Parliament for the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia; part of the European United Left–Nordic Green Left party group in the European Parliament.
Reportedly, Ransdorf was videotaped in 2013 by Dutch news blog Geenstijl, checking in at the European Parliament to claim 304 euro daily expenses fee and immediately leaving.
When he was asked about the footage, he became aggressive and assaulted the reporter by attempting to push his microphone out of the way.
Mr. Ransdorf has been detained in Switzerland in 2015 with three other men from Slovakia in Zurich after trying to withdraw 350 million euros at a Swiss bank Zurich Cantonal Bank on false IDs.
Miloslav Ransdorf was involved in allegedly four car accidents, what led to speculations about drunk driving.
Miloslav Ransdorf passed away at 62 yrs old.
