Mikhail Mikhailovich Bariban was born on February 25, 1949, and died on August 8, 2016.

He was a Russian triple jumper.

Mikhail represented the USSR.

He trained at Dynamo in Krasnodar. He won two medals at the European Indoor Championships as well as a gold medal at the 1973 Summer Universiade.

Since 2006, he served as the director of the Children and Youth Sport School N2 in Krasnodar.

Mikhail Bariban passed away at 67 years old.
