Michael Francis Shepherdson was born on December 10, 1930, and died on February 13, 2016, in Kuala Lumpur.

He was a Malaysian field hockey player, association football goalkeeper, and cricketer.

Mike took part in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, and twice in the Asian Games, in 1958 and 1962.

Later he became a goalkeeper for Selangor FA and was captain of the national cricket team.

Mike Shepherdson passed away at 85 yrs old at the Pantai Medical Centre.
