Mike Enahoro, Nigeria broadcaster, Died at 76

Mike Enahoro died Friday night on October 9, 2015.

Mike was one of the famous news casters on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in the 1980s.

He got popular for his diction and traditional Ishan costume before retiring from the NTA in the early 1990s.

Mike Enahoro hails from the popular Enahoro family of Uromi, Edo State that produced the foremost nationalist who in 1957 moved the motion for Nigeria’s independence from the British, Chief Anthony Enahoro.

Mike was also related to the youngest editor of the famous Daily Times of Nigeria, Peter Enahoro, alias Peter Pan.

Mike passed away at age 76 in October 2015.
