Michael George Raymond “Mike” Agostini was born on January 23, 1935, and died on May 12, 2016.

He was a track and field athlete from Trinidad and Tobago.

During 1954, MIke became the first athlete from that country to take a gold medal at what was now known as the Commonwealth Games when he won the 100 yards final in Vancouver, Canada on 31 July.

He was the Winner of six national titles (four 100m, one 200m, one 400m), 1952-1960, T&T National Champion, 400m, 1960 and First T&T five-time Pan American Games medallist.

Mike Agostini won many other medals.

Mike Agostini passed away at 81 yrs old.
