Michelle McNamara, American writer, Died at 46

Michelle Eileen McNamara died on April 21, 2016.

She was an American crime writer.

She graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where she received a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of Minnesota.

Michelle was the founder of the website True Crime Diary, which covers both breaking stories and cold cases.

Michelle McNamara also featured in the Discovery program A Crime to Remember.

Michelle McNamara was married to actor Patton Oswalt, known from Veep, Agents of SHIELD and The King of Queens, and films including Magnolia, Starsky & Hutch and Ratatouille) and the couple had a 7-year-old daughter named Alice.

Michelle McNamara died in her sleep in her home in Los Angeles.
