Michael Massee was born on August 16, 1955, and died on October 26, 2016.
He was an American actor.
He was probably best known for his roles as Fun Boy in the 1994 film The Crow and The Gentleman in the 2012 film The Amazing Spider-Man.
He had also reprised this role in the 2014 sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
During 1993, Massee portrayed the character Fun Boy in the film The Crow, starring Brandon Lee.
He was the actor who fired the shot that killed Lee by accident on the set in 1993, due to an improperly prepared prop gun.
Michael Massee was so traumatized by the event that he returned to New York and took a year off from acting.
Massee refused to view the film.
Reportedly in an interview in 2005, 12 years after the incident, Massee revealed that he still had nightmares about it, going on to say, “I don’t think you ever get over something like that.”
During 1995, Massee played the cop “Newton” in the film Tales From The Hood.
Massee has provided the voice for the villain Spellbinder in The Batman, as well as appearing on the television series 24 as the villain Ira Gaines.
Michael Massee provided the voice of Bruce Banner for the Ultimate Avengers animated film, as well as the sequel Ultimate Avengers 2.
