Michael Henshall, British Anglican prelate, Died at 88

Michael Henshall was born on February 29, 1928, and died on February 7, 2017.

He was a long-serving Suffragan Bishop of Warrington.

He was educated at Manchester Grammar School and St Chad’s College, Durham.

Henshall was ordained in 1957 and began his career with a Curacy in Bridlington before Incumbencies at Micklehurst and Altrincham.

Henshall then ascended to the Episcopate of Warrington a post he held for 20 years, retiring in 1996.

Henshall’s son has been Dean of Chelmsford since 2014.

Michael Henshall passed away at 88 years old.
