Medeya “Mzia” Jugeli was born on August 1, 1925, in Kutaisi and died on January 8, 2016, in Tbilisi.

He was a Georgian former artistic gymnast.

Medea competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics.

She finished within top 15 in all artistic gymnastics events.

Jugeli one gold and one silver medal.

Miss Jugeli won seven national titles in the vault, in 1946, 1947 and 1951–1955.

After her retirement, Medeya worked as a gymnastics coach.
