Marzieh Hadidchi was born on June 12, 1939, and died on November 17, 2016.

She was also known as Marzieh Dabbaq and Tahere Dabagh.

She was an Iranian Islamist activist, political prisoner, military commander in Iraq-Iran war, a politician and representative of Hamedan in the Iranian parliament in the second, third, fourth and the fifth Majles.

Hadidchi was also one of the founders of Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution.

Following the revolution, she became the chief of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in Hamedan.

Marzieh Hadidchi was one of the three messengers of Ayatollah Khomeini to Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev in 1988.

Marzieh Hadidchi passed away at 77 years old.
