Mary Grant was born on August 6, 1928, and died on September 18, 2016.
She was a Ghanaian politician.
Mary was Ghana’s first female council of state member and also the first Wesley Girls High School alumni to be a medical doctor.
She had her secondary education from the Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast.
She held many positions which includes Deputy Minister of Health,Member of the Provisional National Defense Council(PNDC).
Grant later became the Minister of Education and Culture and also a Member of Council of State.
She received an award during the Maiden Women’s Award ceremony.
Mary Grant passed away at 88 years old.
