Martin Jære, Norwegian skier, Died at 95

Martin Jære was born on January 9, 1920, and died on December 18, 2015.

He was a Norwegian skier.

Martin represented the Lønset sports teams.

His team came third in femmila in Holmenkollen in 1947.

Jære has participated in the Winter Olympics for Norway in 1948 in St. Moritz with 10th place at 50 km.

Martin was awarded the Government’s commemorative medal for gallantry during World War II.
