Marian Ann Borris Javits, sometimes Marion was born in 1925, in Detroit, Michigan and died in 2017.

She was an American arts patron.

Javits was married to the politician Jacob K. Javits from 1947 until his death in 1986.

Marian had dreams of becoming a Hollywood actress, but instead moved to New York to work as a researcher for the Republican Party.

She appeared in a few movies, including 1960’s Who Was That Lady? starring Tony Curtis and Dean Martin.

Javits had an affair with the talk show host Geraldo Rivera, which he described in his 1991 autobiography, “It was one of the most thrilling sexual experiences I’ve ever had, made magical by Marian, of course, and by the sheer illicitness of the moment.

She was found dead in her bed.

Marian Javits passed away at 92 years old.
