Maria Luisa Solari Falabella died on November 2, 2015.

She was a Chilean billionaire retail shareholder.

Maria was a horse breeder and honorary director of Chilean racetrack Hipodromo Chile.

Her great-grandfather opened Chile’s first large tailor shop in 1889.

The empire she built includes: SACI Falabella encompasses department stores, supermarkets and home improvement stores and has an insurance and banking arm, which is locations in Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina.

Maria shared a 13% stake in SACI Falabella with her daughter Maria Cecilia Karlezi Solari.

Maria Luisa Solari Falabella passed away at age 83 in November 2015.
