Marilyn “Lyn” James November 13, 1929, and died on May 31, 2017.

She was a Welsh-born Australian actress and RADA graduate.

James was best known for her role as Doctors receptionist Helen Gordon in the Australian television soap opera The Young Doctors.

James made an appearance in the series from its inception in 1976, until it ended in 1983, and in one episode of the 2002 series Young Lions.

Sally Tayler, her Daughter is also an actress.

She died in Sydney, Australia.

Lyn James passed away at 87 years old.
