Luis Valbuena

Venezuelan professional baseball infielder Luis Adan Valbuena was born on November 30, 1985 and died on December 6, 2018, in Venezuela.

Valbuena played eleven seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), from 2008 through 2018, for the Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, and Los Angeles Angels.

He was primarily a third baseman, he also played second base and first base.

Valbuena grew up in Sucre, a municipality in the Venezuelan state of Zulia.

Valbuena was raised by his single mother named Nelly, who was the leader of the nearby youth baseball alliance.

Valbuena’s more established sibling and a few uncles helped him figure out how to play baseball.

José Castillo and Carlos Rivero were in a vehicle in Yaracuy driven by Rivero’s driver when the gathering was trapped by interstate looters, on December 6, 2018, Valbuena.

The driver endeavored to maintain a strategic distance from them however the vehicle struck a stone and toppled, murdering Valbuena and Castillo.

Four men were captured in association with the episode in the wake of being found possessing the players’ property.

The players were individuals from Venezuelan winter group Cardenales de Lara and were coming back from a diversion played upon the arrival of the accident.

He died at 33 years old.
