Luis Alberto Monge Álvarez was born on December 29, 1925, and died on November 29, 2016.
He was the President of Costa Rica from 1982 to 1986.
Monge also served as Costa Rica’s first Ambassador to Israel from 1963 to 1966.
He suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest at his home in Santa Ana.
Luis Alberto Monge passed away at 90 years old.
