Lola Jean Albright was born on July 20, 1924, in Akron, Ohio and died on March 23, 2017.

She was an American singer and actress.

John Paul and Marion (née Harvey) Albright were her parents, both of whom were gospel music singers.

Lola attended King Grammar School and West High School.

Albright worked as a model before moving to Hollywood, studied piano for 20 years and worked as a receptionist at radio station WAKR in Akron, beginning when she was 15.

When she was 18, she moved to Cleveland and was a stenographer at WTAM radio.

Lola’s first radio performance came on WJW in Cleveland.

Lola Albright passed away at 92 years old.
