Lennie Bluett was born on January 21, 1919, in Los Angeles, California and died on January 1, 2016.

He was an American film actor, pianist, dancer, and singer.

He began playing the piano at Bogart’s parties when he was 16 yrs of age.

Himself along with friend formed a harmonizing group called “Four Dreamers”.

When the group was formed, Nat King Cole used to play with the band.

Lennie played a soldier in Gone With the Wind in 1939.

Lennie Bluett career consisted of minor roles due to the limited opportunities for African-Americans at the time.

Bluett relocated to Vancouver in order to avoid being drafted into World War II, and returned afterward.

Lennie Bluett passed away at 96 yrs old.
