Lawrence A. Pezzulo was born on May 3, 1926, in New York City and died on July 26, 2017.
He was an American former diplomat and Foreign Service officer.
Pezzulo served as the United States Ambassador to Nicaragua (1979–1981) and to Uruguay (1977–1979).
He attended high school in Levittown, New York, and Columbia University.
Lawrence married Josephine DiMattia in February 1950 and with her has three children.
Lawrence Pezzulo passed away at 91 years old.
