Laura Knaperek was born on July 12, 1955, and died on March 3, 2016.
She was an American Republican politician and public official from Arizona.
Knaperek was first elected to the Arizona state House of Representatives in 1994.
Laura compiled a conservative record while taking an avid interest in youth and family issues.
She ran for the state Senate, but lost the general election to Democrat Harry Mitchell, in 2002.
During 2004, Laura made a comeback, returning to the state House of Representatives, but was defeated for reelection in 2006.
Her activity out of office, Laura became Executive Director of United Families International, a conservative advocacy group.
Laura Knaperek sought election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2008 but lost to David Schweikert in the primary election.
Laura Knaperek passed away at 60 yrs old.
