Kōji Wada was born on January 24, 1974, and died on April 3, 2016.

He was a Japanese rock singer.

Wada debuted in 1999 with his first single, “Butter-Fly”, the theme song of the anime Digimon Adventure.

Koji was signed with the Lantis recording label.

Wada’s nickname is “Immortal Butterfly Anisong Singer”.

He has contributed songs to six of the seven Digimon anime series (with one of his songs reused for the seventh, to which he contributed no new songs), including opening themes for the first five of them.

Kōji Wada passed away at 42 yrs old.
