Klaus Katzur was born on August 26, 1943, and died on September 4, 2016.

He was a German swimmer.

Katzur competed in the 1964, 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics.

During 1972, Klaus won a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay and finished eighth in the 200 m breaststroke.

But two years earlier, he won two gold medals in these events at the 1970 European Aquatics Championships.

Between 1963 and 1972, Katzur won 13 national titles in breaststroke, freestyle and medley events.

Klaus Katzur passed away at 73 years old.
