Khuzaima Qutbuddin, Indian Islamic leader, Died at 75

Khuzaima Qutbuddin was born on June 5, 1940, and died on March 31, 2016.

He was an Indian Islamic leader.

He was a claimant to the title of 53rd Da’i al-Mutlaq of the Dawoodi Bohras,a subgroup within the Mustaali, Ismaili Shia branch of Islam.

In 1965, he was appointed “Da’i Madhun” (mazoon mola) by the Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin.

Khuzaima Qutbuddin was the half-brother of Mohammed Burhanuddin and a rival claimant to the title of Dai-al-Mutlaq, claimed that his half-brother appointed him heir around 49 years ago while conferring on him the title of “mazoon”.

Khuzaima Qutbuddin passed at 75 yrs old.
