Kerry Simon, born on June 17, 1955 and died September 11, 2015, he was an American celebrity chef and restaurateur based in Las Vegas.
Simon was also known by the moniker “Rock n’ Roll Chef”, given to him by Rolling Stone Magazine.
He was the executive chef and proprietor at his namesake restaurant “Simon” at Palms Place in Las Vegas.
His other restaurants included Simon LA, in Los Angeles, California, Kerry Prime in Atlantic City, New Jersey, along with KGB and Carson’s Kitchen in Las Vegas.

Kerry revealed in 2013 he was suffering from a rare form of Parkinson’s disease called MSA, or multiple system atrophy.
In February, it was reported Kerry was confined to a wheelchair and lost the ability to move or talk.
Kerry opened multiple restaurants in Las Vegas, including Simon Kitchen & Bar in 2002 at the Hard Rock hotel-casino, Carson Kitchen in Downtown Las Vegas and KGB at Harrah’s.
He died at age 60 on September 11, 2015.
