Kenneth Purchase was born on January 8, 1939, and died on August 28, 2016.
He was a British Labour Co-operative politician,
Ken was the Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East from 1992 until 2010.
Purchase contested Wolverhampton North East in 1987. He served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Robin Cook for six years.
He had announced his intention to retire at the next general election, on October 27, 2007.
Ken married Brenda Sanders on 20 August 1960 in Rowley Regis, together they had two daughters.
Ken Purchase passed away at 77 years old.
