Ken Beatrice was born on July 1943, and died on December 6, 2015.

He was an American radio personality.

Ken hosted a Washington, D.C. area radio call in sports show for 23 years, first on WMAL between 1973 and 1995 later on WTEM and from 1995 to 2000.

His family was Italian-American. Ken graduated from Boston College with a degree in geology.

Ken initially wanted to be a meteorologist, but instead decided to channel his passion for sports into broadcasting.

After his retirement, Ken Beatrice settled in Haymarket, Virginia.

He was a lector at St. John the Evangelist Church in Warrenton, Virginia, where he also trained other lectors.

Ken passed away on December 6, 2015 from complications of pneumonia at the age of 72.
