Kelly was an American woman who was convicted of orchestrating the murder of her husband, Douglas, in 1997.

She was the only woman on death row in Georgia.

Her execution was originally scheduled for March 2, 2015, but was postponed because the drug to be used in her injection had become “cloudy”.
