Katy Bødtger was born on December 28, 1932, in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, and died on May 4, 2017.

She was a Danish singer.

During the 60’s, he won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the song “Det var en yndig tid” (It was a lovely time).

Then following that year Bødtger sang the song at the Eurovision Song Contest 1960, coming joint tenth place with the Swedish entry “Alla andra får varann” (All the others get each other) sung by Siw Malmkvist, receiving four points.

Katy Bødtger passed away at 84 years old.
