Karsten Isachsen, Norwegian priest, author and public speaker, Died at 71

Karsten Einar Isachsen was born on February 22, 1944, and died on 18 January 18, 2016.

He was a Norwegian priest, author, and lecturer.

Karsten Isachsen, the son of Knut Isachsen (1906-1993) grew up in Oslo and Margit Lollo f. Gjertsen (1907-1988).

Isachsen attained matriculation by Christian Gymnasium in 1962.

Isachsen graduated in theology, in 1969 at the School of Theology and took an internship at the University of Oslo in 1970.

Karsten Isachsen was ordained a priest in the Norwegian Church, in 1970

He was assistant pastor in the parish Ullern to end 1974.

From the year 1975 to 1985, Karsten Isachsen was the chaplain in Tunsberg diocese.

As of August 1, 1985, he was a writer, speaker and entertainer full time.

In 1975, Isachsen bought and settle at the mountain garden Eivindsplass in Skurdalen at Geilo, and settled there.

The Garden has been developed to a convention.

He was in 2015 appointed a Knight of the 1st class of St. Olav “for his community salutary effort.”

Karsten Isachsen passed away at 71 yrs old.
