Karl-Heinz Weigang was born on August 24, 1935 and died on June 12, 2017.
He was a German professional football coach.
During Malaysia, Karl-Heinz Weigang was remembered as having coached Perak FA, Johor FA and the Malaysia national team in the 1980s in which Malaysia qualified for the 1980 Olympic Games.
With Perak, Heinz Weigang guided the team to win the Malaysia Cup in 1998 and 2000.
Heinz Weigang also coached the Mali national team and the Vietnam national team.
He returned to Perak as a coach and technical advisor in 2016.
Heinz Weigang died in Germany of a heart attack.
Karl-Heinz Weigang passed away at 81 years old.
