Josefin Nilsson, Swedish singer, Died at 46

Monica Emma Josefin Nilsson/ Monica Emma Josefina Nilsson was born on March 22, 1969, in När, Gotland and died on February 29, 2016.

She was a Swedish singer and actress.

She was the daughter of revue artist and songwriter, Allan Nilsson.

Monica older sister Marie Nilsson Lind is also a singer and a member of Ainbusk.

Josefin Nilsson debut album titled Shapes was released on March 23, 1993.

Most of the music and lyrics were written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

Also, Benny was also the producer of the album.

During 2005, Nilsson competed at the Melodifestivalen (Swedish national selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest) with the song “Med hjärtats egna ord.”

She also performed with Gotlandic pop/folk group Ainbusk.

Additionally, an Estonian-language cover version of Josefin Nilsson’s “Surprise, Surprise” was made in 1995.

Called the “Sa muutsid kõik” and performed by Estonian pop singer Nancy.

Josefin Nilsson passed away at 46 yrs old.
