José Luis Pérez de Arteaga was born in 1950, in Madrid and died on February 8, 2017, in Madrid.

He was a Spanish announcer, critic, journalist, and musicologist.

During 1985, Arteaga began to direct and present El mundo de la fonografía in Radio Clásica, a stationed centered on the area of recorded sound, in discography novelties, historical productions, commemorations and ephemeris, and always evoked through phonographic records.
