Jorma Salmi, Finnish ice hockey player, Died at 83


Jorma Salmi was born on May 6, 1933, and died on May 24, 2016.

He was a professional ice hockey player.

He played in the SM-liiga.

Jorma played for Ilves, HIFK and HJK.

In the year 2003, Salmi was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame.

Jorma Salmi was a member of the 1960 Finnish Olympic team that won a Bronze medal at Lake Placid.

Salmi relocated to the United States and was residing in the Chicago suburb of Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
