John Willie Drummond was born on September 29, 1919, and died on September 3, 2016.
He was an American politician.
John was a Democratic member of the South Carolina Senate, who represented the 10th District from 1966 through 2008.
John W. Drummond was also a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1965 through 1966.
He was known for piloting a P-47D Thunderbolt in World War II with the pin-up art “Raid Hot Mama” on the nose.
John W. Drummond passed away at 96 years old.
