John Mark Taylor was born on August 19, 1941, in Hampton-in-Arden, Warwickshire and died on May 30, 2017.
He was a solicitor and British politician.
He was the Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Solihull from 1983 to 2005, before losing his seat to Lorely Burt of the Liberal Democrats by a margin of 279 votes in the 2005 general election.
Taylor had previously been a Member of the European Parliament and leader of West Midlands County Council.
Taylor was initially elected to the House of Commons in 1983, and served as a junior minister under John Major.
John Taylor passed away at 75 years old.
