He was an Australian politician.
John Kaye was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Council at the 2007 state election and represented the Greens.
Kaye was a vocal critic of electricity industry privatisation and a strong advocate for renewable energy and energy efficiency, as well as a vocal spokesperson for public schools and TAFE colleges.
He earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
John Kaye passed away at 60 yrs old.
