John Denis Fraser was born on June 30, 1934, in Wandsworth, London and died on April 6, 2017.
He was Labour Member of Parliament for Norwood in London from 1966 to 1997 and a solicitor.
His parents are Frances (née Benedict) and Archibald Fraser.
Fraser was of Scottish and Irish descent.
Fraser was educated at Sloan Grammar School and the Law Society College of Law, becoming a solicitor.
John was a senior partner at the law firm Lewis Silkin LLP.
He was married and had three children.
