Joey Martin Feek was known as Joey + Rory died on March 4, 2016.

He was an American country & bluegrass duo composed of singer-songwriters.

They were Rory Lee Feek and Joey Martin Feek, who were husband and wife.

The lead vocalist was Joey, while Rory did background vocals and played guitar.

The pair was the third-place finalist on the CMT’s competition ‘Can You Duet’ in 2008.

During that same year, the couple signed to Sugar Hill/Vanguard Records, releasing their debut album The Life of a Song in late October.

That album’s lead-off single, “Cheater, Cheater”, was a Top 40 hit on the Billboard country charts.

However, they did not make it on top 40 on that chart, then the pair released seven studio albums in total.

Joey Martin Feek passed away at 40 yrs old due to cervical cancer.
