Joseph Nathan McKnight was born on April 16, 1988, and died on December 1, 2016, in Terrytown, Louisiana.

He was an American football player.

He played as a running back and return specialist.

He played in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL).

Joe attended the University of Southern California (USC), where he played college football for the USC Trojans.

McKnight was selected in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.

When he finished playing in the NFL for the Jets and Kansas City Chiefs, Joe played in the CFL for the Edmonton Eskimos and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

McKnight was killed in an apparent road rage incident.
