Joe Bartles Browder was born on April 10, 1938, and died on September 18, 2016.

He was an American environmental activist.

Joe spearheaded ongoing efforts to save the Florida Everglades.

Browder was considered to be a global environmental expert.

He was an advisor on energy, climate change, environmental policy to public-interest groups, foundations, auto and energy companies, other businesses, Native American tribes and government agencies.

Joe started out his career as a television news reporter, an active volunteer and later a paid representative for Audubon (the National Audubon Society).

Joe Browder passed away at 78 years old.
