Joseph Francis “Joe” Alaskey III was born on April 17, 1952, and died on February 3, 2016.

He was an American actor, comedian and voice artist.

He was recognized as one of the successors of Mel Blanc in impersonating the voices of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety and other characters from Warner Bros. cartoons, such as Plucky Duck on Tiny Toon Adventures from 1990–95.

Alaskey was the second actor to voice Grandpa Lou Pickles on Rugrats (inheriting the role after David Doyle’s death in 1997).

Joseph voiced Lou again in the Rugrats spin-off series, All Grown Up! and all three films.

Joseph also voiced “Stinkie” in Casper as well as that film’s 1996 animated spin-off, The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper.

In 1994, Joseph Alaskey voiced McKluck and the Sneetches in Storybook Weaver, and later in 2004, deluxe version in Storybook Weaver Deluxe.

Joseph started narrating the television documentary series Murder Comes to Town, in 2014.

The series has airs on the Investigation Discovery Network.

Joe Alaskey passed away at 63 yr old.
