Jishnu Raghavan Alingkil, stage name Jishnu was born in Kannur and died on March 25, 2016.

He was an Indian film actor.

His parents were Malayalam film actor Raghavan and Sobha.

He appeared in Malayalam films.

Jishnu was the son of actor Raghavan, who also directed Jishnu’s debut film Kilipatt which was selected for the Indian Panorama.

Jishnu was also a mechanical engineer graduated from NIT Calicut.

As a child artist he featured in the movie Kilipatt in the year 1987, Jishnu made his film debut in a leading role in the blockbuster movie Nammal in 2002.

Jishnu’s appearance in the film earned him Mathrubhumi Award and Kerala Film Critics Award for the Best Male Debut.

Also, Jishnu followed it with leading roles in Choonda, Freedom, Parayam and supporting part in Nerariyan CBI, Pauran and Chakkara Muthu.

Jishnu Raghavan Alingkil passsed away at 36 yrs old, due to lung cancer.
