Jim “Long Gone” Thomas, born in 1939 and died October 4, 2015.

Jim was a running back who played nine seasons in the Canadian Football League for the Edmonton Eskimos.

In his career, Jim ran for 6161 yards and was a two-time CFL All-Star.

Jim signed to the Los Angeles Rams in 1970 for a five-game trial, but returned to Edmonton.

Jim Thomas passed away on October 4, 2015.
