American farmer and a Democratic politician from the U.S. state of Arkansas Jim W. House was born on September 14, 1948 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and died on December 5, 2018.

He relocated in 1957 to Washington County, Arkansas, where he resided in the county seat of Fayetteville.

During 1971, Jim House received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture from the University of Arkansas.

Jim House served in the United States Army in 1971 and 1972 and was stationed in South Vietnam.

Jim House has commissioned a sergeant.

He worked for the Arkansas Department of Health as an area manager from 1974 to 2000.

Jim House was a farmer and a farrier. He served for two terms in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011.

He died in a tractor mishap at his farm in Washington County.

Jim House passed away at 70 years old.
